The M4 in Safety Car colors was displayed at the SEMA show, but since the release of this info, a lot of users were asking “Why doesn’t the M4 in GT6 have those LED roof lights?”
Actually, the LED roof lights itself was something that the Polyphony Digital Car Team was working on separate and prior to the “M4 M Performance Edition”. And on the day of the SEMA show, the display car had roof lights installed, and the LED roof lights under development in-game was completed as well. Since this is modeled after an existing pace/safety car, the LED roof lights are specially available to equip on this car. And not just the roof lights, the flashers inside the front grill is going to be available as well. Check out the “Other Parts” section in GT Auto!
Driving through bad weather, its definitely got the authentic Safety Car run look to it. The Gran Turismo original safety car was born through a collaboration between Gran Turismo and BMW North America. We hope you’ll make use of the safety car in your own online race events!
And as we had mentioned, a second set of aerodynamic parts have been completed. The front lip spoiler is different from the “M Performance Edition” and is modeled in line with the current custom car trends, with a slightly lifted center section. A racing rear diffuser that wraps around the tail pipe is also provided as a set!
There’s also an online event going on in conjunction with this update. The time trial is a Safety run at night on the Daytona Road Course!
And with the tuning restriction removal, a drift trial is also being held! You can drift gracefully through an urban track as you might have seen in the BMW M235i commercial!
